P2K (Pocket to Kindle)
I’ve been a Pocket user for a long time; however, since I got myself a Kindle to make long form reading easier, it has been bugging me that I couldn’t read my web articles on my Kindle.
So I contacted Pocket asking if they have plans for better integration with Kindle. From their response and my research, I understood that it’s not within their business goals as they have a deep integration with Kobo e-reader, a Kindle competitor. So I decided to build one myself.
This would be exciting because it would be my first Ruby on Rails application. Playing with Ruby on Rails for a couple days and reading some tutorials, I loved it, and within a week, this app was born.
It’s currently live at http://p2k.co and the source code is available on GitHub for you to contribute.
